JMU started a digital transformation program in 2020 - this came into being as a large number of core systems are reaching end of life, and new capabilities are being sought. This presentation aims to show the thought processes which moved JMU from separate procurements across different groups, into a coordinated transformation program to benefit the entire university. It will discuss the decisions that established the order of priorities, and then how a governance structure was set up to oversee the work, along with our initial successes in Data Governance and iPaas. Finally, we will present some "Lessons Learned So Far."
